Printing Press

These images seek to raise awareness about the alarming numbers of abandoned federal government buildings in Lagos since the federal capital was moved to Abuja on 12th December 1991. This space was once the office of Sir Frederick Lugard, the First Governor-General of Nigeria during the British Colonial period and it became the federal Printing Press after independence. This series, created in black and white, takes into cognizance the history of this space with the ghost movements representing the presence of its inhabitants.
