Black Man of Storr (2021) is a site-specific performance that continues the artist’s ongoing exploration of the body-landscape relationship where identity, politics, history, geography is conveyed on the clouds of activism.
In this performance, the body is presented as a monument, which re-activates and interrogates the legend of the Old Man of Storr. While the Old Man of Storr was a giant who had lived in Trotternish Ridge, the Black Man of Storr will live in a giant screen to re-tell this legend to new audiences.
